How does an engagement start, and what is the process?

Four steps: diagnose the scenario (business goal and people in scope); scope and plan (modules, interfaces, acceptance criteria); trial and verification (real use at small scale); roll-out and maintenance (training and ongoing support). The first conversation needs no sensitive records.

Each step has a deliverable: the scenario list and metrics, the delivery list and implementation plan, the trial record and acceptance result, the user guide and service arrangement.
On-site work additionally runs through the seven stage gates, tailored from the internal audit workflow.
